About me

As an integrative counsellor, I draw on different therapeutic approaches to create a way of working that suits you. My approach is about creating a space where you are genuinely listened to, accepted and supported to explore things in your own way. I can help you explore how your early experiences influence how you think and feel today, and we can identify patterns together. Our work will be based on a strong, trusting relationship where you can feel safe to be open and honest.

My clients describe me as down-to-earth, understanding and non-judgemental. Therapy is a reflective and empowering process, helping you understand yourself more deeply and make meaningful changes. I believe your experiences make you the expert in you – I can help you understand your own answers.

Individual Therapy

Are you struggling with anxiety, bereavement, stress, or low mood – or simply feel stuck and unsure how to move forward? Starting counselling can feel like a big decision – especially if you’re not sure what to expect. You might be feeling uncertain, vulnerable or simply wondering if it’s the right time. Reaching out is a courageous first step, and I’m here to meet you with compassion, curiosity and care. Together we will explore what you feel you need, and what changes you want to make to build the life you want and deserve, and to be happy. I offer a warm, supportive and confidential space where we can work at your pace.

I work from a lovely room in central Stockport or online. Please contact me for availability.

Single Session Therapy

A single session that allows us to work together to explore one issue so that you leave feeling empowered and with a plan of how you are going to move forward. You are not limited to a single session – if you feel you need another session or two after a few weeks, when you have had chance to reflect on the session and put things into practice, you are more than welcome to book another session. This is an opportunity to explore a single issue in a focused way.

Children & Young People

Watching your child struggle is hard, and reaching out for support can feel like a big decision. You or your child might be unsure what to expect, but I’ll meet you both with compassion, curiosity and care. Together, we’ll explore how they’re feeling and support them to build the happy life they deserve.

I offer a warm, confidential space where we work at your child’s pace. Therapy can be playful and will be relaxed, helping them feel safe, understood, and confident in expressing themselves. With over 15 years experience working with children & young people, I will adapt my approach to meet your child’s needs, (including sensory, communication preferences and supporting emotional regulation).

I can support your child with understanding emotions, navigating difficult experiences like bereavement or divorce, managing anger, and more.

I offer a free 15 minute consultation call to help us to get to know each other a bit, and for you to ask any questions you have. You don’t need to decide in this call whether you want to go ahead with counselling. There’s no pressure or commitment – just a chance to explore whether I might be the right fit for you. 

In our first full session we will begin to explore what brings you to therapy as well as go through some practical bits like setting boundaries and agreeing how we’ll work together.
